* We haven't updated the blog in a few weeks - it has been a busy time around here! This is an updated photo of me and my twin brother - Charlie. He is the best!

Future Parents!

* This is a recent photo especially for Stella! We can't wait to see you in just a little over 3 months!!

26 Weeks!

*James had fun taking this belly shot last night!

26 Weeks!

*We decided to post some new photos for Nana Stella! This one is of me and my OLDER!! sister. She's the best! We had a great weekend staying with our friends and visiting my sister and brother in-law. However, it always seems like weekend visits never last long enough! I also went baby shopping with Maureen - and got some awesome gender-neutral stuff. I think I am going to give our future child a complex....almost everything I have bought is animal-centered (little hats with ears, pajamas with paws for feet, etc.)

Another shot!

More Ultrasound Shots!

Ultrasound #2!!!

*We had our second Ultrasound and everything looked great! We got to see some great close-ups of the face. The baby was not shy this time!! However, sad to say, the horns seem to have disappeared.

Today is Ultrasound #2 Day!!

*James and I are very excited to see the baby today!! This will more than likely be the last time we get to check out him/her before the birth day! Hopefully our little Hume-an will not be camera shy this afternoon so we can get some pictures to share!

Maternity Clothing is Scary!

*After much prodding (this means you Maureen!) I have finally caved and bought some maternity clothing. I have to say, it was overall, a painless experience. I was able to find some shirts that do not resemble window curtains or tents, which is good. There are also some really great pregnancy t-shirts around. My favorite one is pictured. =o)

23 Weeks and Cartwheels!

* So I think I actually appear to be pregnant now, rather than just gluttonous! We are over the half-way point - which means that we will be parents to a little girl or boy before we know it! We are planning to start working on the baby's room, aka, the office, aka, the cat's room. We've already bought a crib, which I am sure James' is very much looking forward to putting together. We were due for Ultrasound #2 this week, however, we had to push the appointment forward. Therefore, sadly, no updated ultrasound photos for now! The baby has been becoming more and more active every day. I swear he/she is doing cartwheels in there sometimes!!

Interesting Ultrasound Shots!

Our ultrasound went great! The Tech and midwives said that everything looks perfect. However, as I said in my prior post, our little blob refused to show his/her entire face. The shot to the right is looking down onto his/her face. You can see an eye, part of the nose, and half another eye. Oh, and also what appear to be horns! It is actually just the outline of the skull...but seriously, this is a going to be a great family album photo for years to come.

We celebrated with a dinner out at "the stage",(which was once a favorite Sunday-morning, after Saturday out at the bar breakfast place). They have a dish called chicken and kielbasa from hell that

is wicked good. Very hot.... but very good.

20 Weeks!!!

*Unbelieveable as it may seem, I am half way through pregnancy! James and I can hardly believe it! We had our anatomy ultrasound this week, and it was seriously very cool. Technology is amazing! Our little blob (aka Lumpy, aka Vac) did not want to cooperate, and the Ultrasound Tech kept pushing and prodding to try to get him/her to move! We could'nt get a good profile view. But getting to see the perfectly formed spine, brain and even the atrium and ventricles of the heart was amazing. They sent us home with some "interesting" screen shots. I will make a new post with those. They kept our due date the same, 06/10/09! My sister may have to share a birth date! We also found out today that James' Mom is coming out on June 6th! So exciting!
